Frequently Asked Questions
How far in advance should I book an appointment?
Due to popular demand, it’s necessary to book at least 1 week in advance to ensure I can meet your needs.
This also provides the benefit of giving both of us time to communicate a plan, expectations, and deliverables.
Why don't you use HDR photography?
HDR stands for High-Dynamic Range. In architectural and real estate photography, HDR photos keep your shadows and highlights from being to dark and too bright, respectively. This certainly meets many client demands, however it creates a contrasted image while losing majority of natural tones. As a result, this makes the image look very unnatural and overprocessed. By using premium studio lighting techniques, I can remove color casts from different light sources, ensure colors are true to life, maintain the natural look and feel of a room, and ensure all photos are at the absolute best quality across all images.
What file types should I use?
JPG: For images on social media, websites, blogs, etc.
PNG: For logos with transparent backgrounds on websites, blogs, etc.
RAW: For original file preservation for another editor
TIFF: For photoshop edits by another editor
